So long high school...

Graduation is something that changes your perspective of life, even in the most subtle ways. You realize just how quickly 4 years have gone by… and how important it is to live life to the fullest.

When I looked out at all my fellow graduates, it was hard to recognize them. Everyone looked different. Everyone has changed. Even my friends I’ve known throughout my high school career. Welcoming faces transformed into something more - all youth ready to achieve greatness, on a journey to reach their full potential (hopefully).

In the midst of Hogwarts’ gowns (or nuns’ robes), excitement and nervousness ensues. In the chaos of caps, adjusting outfits and taking as many selfies as humanly possible, we realize we HAVE indeed made it.

4 years filled with a roller coaster of emotions.

4 years filled with joy, pain, confusion, responsibilities and of course, stress.

4 years filled with memories of studying and/or partying (depending on the type of student you were).

4 years that might fade away until oblivion or stay with us forever (for better or worse).

But it wasn’t for nothing. Even if your experience wasn’t the best, or it was incredible, there’s still more to come. More chances for finding yourself and living life to the fullest.

So, shout out to all the grads, present, past and future.
